FROM ONE FAMILY TO
AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY.

Founded through grace,
Thriving through the love for all.

What started as simple visits to local day programs, cutting and styling hair, sharing laughter, and building confidence, grew into something much greater. Over the years, WeCare Industries has evolved into a true source of joy, inclusion, and community connection for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

From becoming a trusted vendor with Special Olympics to hosting events, fundraisers, and partnerships that bring people together, our journey reflects one simple belief:

When people feel seen, valued, and included, they thrive.

And that is why the WeCare team shows up every day, because we wholeheartedly believe everyone deserves to belong.

A SISTERLY BOND THAT

CAN NEVER BE BROKEN

Founded in 2009 by Vickie Edwards, WeCare Industries was born out of a deep love for her sister, Denell, a disabled adult who continues to be the heartbeat of our mission.

Navigating the challenges as Denell’s primary caregiver and advocate fueled Vickie’s passion to address the lack of inclusive social spaces and supportive resources for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

What began as a specialized mobile salon service to boost confidence and self-esteem has transformed into a powerful advocacy platform. Today, WeCare Industries hosts inclusive community events, recreational programs, and interactive experiences. Guided by the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued, our team works tirelessly to cultivate an environment of dignity, compassion, and true
belonging for all.
